As I mentioned at the conclusion of our conference last week, and to reiterate, we were as pleased as could be with the meeting facilities for our conference. You guys have a great venue and a great location. Everyone was pleased with all the arrangements and facilities. Also, personally, I have to say how much I like the design and decor of the hotel and the rooms, the wall paintings, the glass paintings, the writing desk in the room and other furnishings. La Fonda is a treasure!

We want to acknowledge and thank all of La Fonda’s staff for with work during our recent meeting.  They exerted special effort to make our jobs, as hosts, very easy, and to insure that all of the attendees had an enjoyable experience.  We have received very positive feedback; several have commented that the Santa Fe meeting was the best regional meeting they have attended.  The food throughout the weekend was delicious and the service was exceptional.

This was our second time meeting at La Fonda (the first was 2002).  Our organization was so impressed back then by the staff and service that we wanted to return.  Our experience this year surpassed our expectations.  The sales and convention service managers responded to our every request quickly and professionally.  They made us feel that we were the “most important customer”.  The exemplary service didn’t stop with the management team.  Front desk staff took care of our urgent requests cheerfully and efficiently and the banquet manager kept a watchful eye on each food event and miraculously appeared whenever we needed him.  And the entire bell staff was at our beck and call and responded on a moment’s notice to assist us.  All of these people let us know that they love their jobs – a rarity in today’s world.  What a wonderful reflection on the hotel management and La Fonda’s work environment.

It has been a pleasure for me to work with you and everyone there at La Fonda.  It’s a treat to have a true partnership.  Trust me, after over 25 years in the business you get to see pretty much the good, bad and ugly.  This alliance is always a wonderful experience!  Please share my appreciation with the staff who took care of my group.  I think it’s important to let people know when they’ve done a great job. There may be a good possibility of coming back with a little larger meeting in a few years!

Earlier this month our Association held our Team Building Session at La Fonda on the Plaza.  A small event – a total of 20 rooms, breakfast and lunch, some snacks for our breaks, and a meeting room.  Small in size on our part – BIG on hospitality on La Fonda’s part.  
 
I would like to thank La Fonda on the Plaza and the great team that worked with me in orchestrating and organizing our Session.  From the first phone call to the hotel, I felt like family.  The warmth that was extended to myself and to our association attendees was amazing.  The food was great!  The banquet staff was very attentive, plus they were really nice.  Room check-in for our attendees was like clock-work.  Thank you!

Well, it could not have been more fabulous!. The hotel, the weather, the reception at The Palace of the Governors and, of course, your fabulous hospitality was amazing. Everyone wants to move to Santa Fe now and they said that they wished all of our meetings could be held in La Terraza.  I wanted to thank you in person but I missed you on Thursday.  I am putting a list together of La Fonda staff who worked so hard to make our meeting a great success.  I will be preparing a letter to send to your general manager, and I will also complete the survey I received.  You and all of the hotel staff will get glowing praise; I didn't get one complaint about anything!  Again, thank you for all that you and the staff did to make my event so memorable.

I want to thank you and all of your wonderful staff for a most successful meeting.  Everyone we encountered – from the garage staff as we first drove in, to the front desk staff when we checked out – were so nice and helpful.  The food was great, the accommodations wonderful, and the meeting facilities comfortable. Many of our members were making their first trip to Santa Fe and they were overwhelmed.  We heard several talking about their next trip and I feel certain they will be staying at La Fonda.  All of my efforts to build up Santa Fe as this year’s meeting location were met with success and there is talk of coming again soon. I have heard nothing but rave reviews concerning our program, Santa Fe (in general), and La Fonda (in particular). People said the food was the best they had been served at any of our meetings and even at any other chemistry meeting they've attended. In addition, even the vendors were very pleased at the space that you set up for them. People enjoyed the charm of the hotel, so - all in all - it was a most successful conference. We always get a few complaints but hardly ever any compliments like these.

I want to thank you again for all of the help you provided me in getting our Santa  Fe event set up at La Fonda. It went off without a hitch. The hotel was great and right on the Plaza so within walking distance of shops and restaurants. I cannot say enough about the staff at the hotel. Everyone was so nice and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The AV tech came in each morning to make sure we didn't have any problems. I cannot say enough positive things about this venue!!

Nor general courtesy as warmly focused as at La Fonda.
